AUTOMATIC PALLET KEG BEER SYSTEM FOR MANUFACTURING FACTORY
ETEK has developed a state-of-the-art automation solution for the 30L KEG stage in breweries, which increases productivity up to 400 KEGs per hour. This system not only reduces the dependence on manual labor, but also optimizes the process and ensures continuous, stable operation 24/7.
Customer Request
One of the largest machine manufacturers in Vietnam has partnered with ETEK to develop a complete automated pallet handling and sorting process for the 30L KEG product. The company set a number of key technical requirements as follows:
- Integrated automatic system includes stages: KEG perfume, relaxation, eyelash and sleep.
- Apply industrial robots to automatically stack KEGs on pallets.
- Ensure capacity reaches 400 KEG/hour.
- Reduces work while improving product accuracy and consistency.
Automation solutions from ETEK
After a detailed survey of the production line, ETEK’s engineering team designed and developed an integrated system of multiple automation modules for the 30L KEG series:
1. Automatic kingdom set
After the KEG is checked for standard mass, it is brought to a dedicated Girl station. This equipment will Mon the KEG 180 degrees to prepare it for the next processing steps.
2. Relaxation and labeling system
By configuring the base using the correct servo motor, the system will unwind into the preset position and label the product automatically, ensuring uniformity and cosmetic appraisal.
3. Thermal shrinkage station
KEG after labeling will go through the shrink. Support the use of appropriate temperature, the gasket shrinks tightly into the valve part, enhancing the durability and product identification during warehouse storage and transportation.
4. KEG automatic palletizing robot
The system uses a 6-axis ABB robot with a maximum payload of 205kg and a working range of up to 2800mm. The first robot equipped is specifically designed for the KEG 30L series, helping to arrange products on pallets according to a pre-defined diagram quickly and accurately. The system is also integrated with automatic pallet feeding, helping to minimize the user’s printing level.
5. Pallet stretch film machine
After the work is completed, the pallet will be transferred to the automatic water feeder, ensuring the product is firm. The speed reaches 30 pallets/hour.
6. Unloading conveyor
Completed pallets are transferred via conveyor to a waiting area, ready for forklifts to enter the warehouse or for shipment.
Effectiveness
- Standard capacity of 400 KEG/hour, as per customer requirements.
- Automating the entire process significantly reduces manual work and limits errors.
- The system operates stably, meeting the requirements of continuous production 24/7.
- Open system design, allowing parameters to be adjusted when configuration operations need to be changed.
